Learning agreement

Exchange students must complete a learning agreement for studies with the list of courses they intend to take at the University of Siena.

The learning agreement must be signed by the student, the responsible person at the sending university and the responsible person at the receiving institution (the University of Siena).

List of legal subjects and other subjects

The University of Siena is the perfect place to study law in an international environment! 

According to a longstanding policy of the University of Siena, incoming students can include in their learning agreement subjects taught in different Departments and Schools.

Legal studies are based in the Department of Law, which academic offer includes a growing number of courses taught in English as well as traditional and innovative subjects taught in Italian.  

Other legal subjects, both in English and in Italian, can also be chosen in the other Departments and Schools offering degrees in Law, Economics, Political Sciences and Social Sciences.

The same Departments and Schools also offer subjects in English and in Italian in different fields, such as Economics, Management, Politics, Sociology and History, which can be attended by incoming students to create a multidisciplinary international experience.

The file attached provides a list of subjects divided into 1) legal subjects taught in English; 2) legal subjects taught in Italian; 3) other subjects taught in English in courses of law, economics, political sciences and social sciences. Each list includes basic information concerning the teaching staff, number of hours and credits, year and period, department field and a link to the syllabus of the subject.
