Contents
The course addresses the legal framework governing contracts and
litigation in the international arena.
Specifically, the following subjects will be addressed:
1) The notion of international contract, the general principles of contract
law, and the rules governing the choice of applicable law;
2) The UNIDROIT principles of international commercial contracts;
3) Certain types of international contracts;
4) International commercial and investment arbitration, and alternative
dispute resolution;
5) Cross-Border insolvency procedures.

The course aims to provide the student with knowledge of the institutions, practices, and remedies in the area of international contractual relation.
